Jeffrey W. Allison, VMFA Paul Mellon Collection Educator and Director for Statewide Programs and Exhibitions, judged the 2021 RAL Art Center Annual Photography Exhibit. In addition to his VMFA responsibilities, Jeffrey has exhibited his Photography for 30 years and his art is included in a number of private and corporate collections. Jeffrey awarded 6 ribbons for excellence and stated “ It’s been an honor and a privilege to review a remarkably wide range of works. An overwhelming number of the 40 submissions demonstrated a pursuit of excellence and were of very high quality of professionalism, which made the process of judging difficult but also extraordinarily rewarding.”
