A drawing and painting class where participants will work from photographs of their own furry friends to create drawings and a large-scale acrylic painting. Students will exercise contour, and shading techniques on a smaller scale and then move on to color mixing and painterly texture techniques to create a large-scale portrait of their furry friends.
All Materials Included
Fee: $65
Maximum: 8 Students
This program has been organized by the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is supported, in part, by the Paul Mellon Endowment and the Jean Stafford Camp memorial Fund.
Class will be held in the newly renovated Pike Studio...a great place to learn, grow and connect.
