As an introduction to gelli plate printing, instructor, Gloria Clifford, will demonstrate some fabulous, fun techniques using a gelli plate, creating beautiful, one of a kind decorative paper in the process. Students will then try their hand at gelli printing in the second hour of class. Who knew that making prints with a gelli plate could lead to so many other art forms, like making one's own greeting cards, the creation of decorative papers for gift wrapping purposes, as well as unique gift tags OR the creation of interesting one of a kind mixed medium or collage works of art.
