Plein Air artist and award-winner Thomas Bradshaw will show you his techniques for creating and using color value and temperature to emphasize and impact your design.  Artists will use a limited palette of primary colors and understand how color temperature, taken to a new level, can control the eye movement throughout a painting.  Thomas will also emphasize the use of strong edges, both hard and soft, to enliven your composition and bring great eye appeal.

Spend a day along the shores of the Rappahannock river and another tucked into an inlet that has a working marina and a graveyard of old boats…both offering some interesting and powerful compositions.
