Isabelle Robinson

Isabelle Robinson studied at the School of the Louvre, and the Institute of Art and Archeology at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. Prior to her NNK life, she worked in HR, digital marketing and communications, organized contemplative retreats, owned and ran the website findthedivine.com and raised 3 children in Northern Virginia. Her paintings are emotional landscapes which shift with time and place, occasionally adding found objects and collages in their midst for extra depths. To create her assemblages Isabelle gathers random broken objects combining them to create new "wholes." By doing so she breaks the boundaries of each object's function and gives them a new identity through their connections to others. Those works are about healing and unity.
