About the Event
Instructor: Doug Mock, Artist
Dates: May 6 & 7
Time: 10am-3pm
Artists will learn the importance of creating works that take advantage of strong design and composition. You will learn about the elements and principles of design, what armature/structure is best for your specific work, how to assess your photos (or plein air sites) to ensure strong works and how to best plan your art for success. This workshop does not include physical painting.
Doug will have hands-on exercises and supplies to reinforce your learning. Please bring at least six - 8.5” x 11” photo references that you think would make great art. Once you have registered a complete supply list will be emailed to you.
