Join artist and instructor Doug Mock for this exciting class where you will create a very fun and colorful bowl/vessel inspired by Dale Chihuly’s Macchia series. Macchia is Italian for “spot”, and this will be our jumping off point as we create our masterpiece. Chihuly’s creative journey with this series was driven by the 300 color choices in his hot shop. Like Chihuly, you will cut, design, transfer, paint, (using permanent enamels) and finally melt your creation into a fun bowl that can be used for a variety of purposes around your home.
