July Adult Paint Night: Ocean Treasure Chest with Artist/Instructor Juli Schuszler

6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Cost:  Members $35, Non-members $40

Join us on the evening of Thursday, July 28 to paint an ocean-themed still life. Our paintings will be completed using acrylic paint on an 11” x 14” stretched canvas. You will be creating a still life arrangement of objects found in a beachcomber’s treasure chest.

All levels of experience are welcome, from beginner to experienced. You will receive step-by-step directions. You will have printed instructions and a full-sized reference image. Special instruction will be available to those needing help mixing shades and tones and applying paint to create the textures of the weathered wood, the gritty sand, the smooth shells, and the rough starfish. You will learn how to paint the transparency of the shadows. 

Feel free to bring your favorite beverages and snacks to make the evening even more special. Bring a friend, neighbor, relative, or spouse for this fun and engaging class.

All art supplies will be included.

Class size limit 12 plus instructor.

Class will be held in the newly renovated Pike Studio...a great place to learn, grow and connect.
