About the Event

After many years of teaching drawing and painting, I began to notice that many of my students had only a minimal knowledge of color and how to mix colors accurately within their paintings and/or drawings. As a result, I developed a five-week color theory class which offers hands on activities with a fun take on learning how to use color effectively and confidently. Not only will students learn how to mix color beautifully in several mediums, they will also have a better understanding of how color affects every aspect of our lives. Color is everywhere in our world and learning more about color will be a tremendous aid in the pursuit of any future painting class.
