Better Beginners Watercolor

These Better Beginner watercolor classes are open to any artist who has completed any beginning watercolor program. These classes are NOT adequate for true beginners. Doug will be demonstrating a specific watercolor technique as he paints the image you see above. You DO NOT need to paint this image (unless you want to). You are free to paint any subject matter that is of interest to you and Doug will assist as needed.

The techniques presented this session will include (but not be limited to): solid washes, graded washes, charging, wet into wet chromatic backgrounds, dry brush and screen/splatter.

Continue to expand your skills, learn to plan for success and eliminate the fear and apprehension that many artists face. Doug’s classes are fun, informative and intended to inspire each artist to push themselves to improve.
