Fiber Arts Workshop:  Let’s Make a Quilt!
Have you always been interested in making a quilt? Â This class is the perfect opportunity to explore constructing your own quilt from start to finish.
Instructor: Â Kay Vincent
Dates: Mondays, March 7, 14, 21, 28, 2022
Time: 1 to 4 pm
Cost: $150 for members; $173 for non-members   Limit of 8 students
Skill level: Some experience with a sewing machine is helpful
Description: Â During this weekly four-session class, Kay Vincent will begin by teaching color theory; by the end of the course, students will complete a log cabin quilt. The log cabin quilt is a fun place to start on your quilt making journey; the quilt blocks can have endless color combinations which will lead to variety of patterns.
We will be constructing 9-12 blocks to complete a crib or lap quilt. You may choose to begin construction on a larger quilt, which may be started in class and continued at your leisure.
