Labor Day Art Show Judge:
James Warwick Jones
James Warwick Jones is a native of Hampton, Virginia. He studied at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts before graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Secondary Art Education from Old Dominion University. A realist painter with over 51 years of teaching experience, he also worked for 36 years in curatorial and programming areas, first at Peninsula Fine Arts Center and then Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center. Jones has exhibited in more than 275 exhibitions and won over 225 awards. His work is represented in over 20 public and corporate collections, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Phillip Morris, Portsmouth Museums, Wachovia Bank, CSX Corporation, Central Fidelity Bank, and the Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center.
