The Rappahannock Art League was founded in 1949 on a shoestring: our ten charter members each paid$1.00 in annual dues. Times have changed when it comes to dues, but today our 300+ membership continues to aim high. RAL will commemorate its 75th year, in September 2024, with the publication of a highly visual coffee table book that preserves our remarkable story.
